Anna’s House Foundation recently received a $1,500 OK Community Cares grant to purchase Chromebooks to use in the First Focus reading program for children in their foster community.
“We are incredibly thankful to OK Community Cares and the Oklahoma Community Credit Union for their generous $1,500 grant in support of our reading program,” said Katherine Craig, Executive Director of Anna’s House Foundation. “With this funding, we were able to purchase six Chromebooks that will allow us to grow our reading program and invest in the future of foster children in Oklahoma. This partnership perfectly reflects the Credit Union’s core values of ‘Knowing, Doing, and Caring.’ By investing in educational opportunities, OK Community Cares is helping us empower children to build brighter futures, one reader at a time!”
