Oklahoma Community Credit Union is accepting applications for board of director nominees until Tuesday, November 30 at 5:00 p.m. The credit union has three seats up for election at their next annual meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2022.
The three seats up for election are currently held by Becky Dilbeck, Anne McMurtry and Joe Hobart. All three are running for re-election.
Individuals interested in applying to be a director can download an application here (Board of Directors Application for March 10 2022 Annual Meeting) or visit any Oklahoma Community branch to obtain an application. Applications are to be turned in to Oklahoma Community President/CEO Daniel Thrasher, and then reviewed by the Nominating Committee. Nominating Committee members are Wilma Wehr-Hiatt, Lyle Eastman and Colby Cagle.
“Having a volunteer board of directors to provide oversight and help management set the strategic initiatives is a unique aspects of credit unions,” said Wehr-Hiatt, nominating committee chair. “One of our core principles as a financial cooperative is democratic member control, and members have the opportunity to do just that through board nominations and elections.”
