OK Community Cares provided the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma (GSEOK) a $1,000 grant to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience program.
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience is led by dedicated volunteers and staff who lead girl scouts through activities based on the four pillars of STEM, outdoors, life skills and entrepreneurship.
“The mission of Girl Scouts is to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place,” said Melissa Bogle, GSEOK Chief Executive Officer. “The generous funding from local organizations and individual donors allows us to offer a variety of programs and activities that help girls discover their strengths, meet new challenges, find their voices and make a positive impact on their communities.”
