Glencoe Public Schools was recently awarded a $1,194.60 OK Community Cares grant to purchase PE equipment and activities as well as a storage shed.
“We are excited for the opportunities the OK Community Cares Grant will provide our campus,” said Lindsay Bailey, Glencoe Elementary Principal. “We will be buying a storage building to house all our PE and recess equipment and providing new equipment for the students to use during PE.”
With the purchase of additional PE equipment, students will have new activities to keep engagement high while promoting healthy habits. The storage shed will provide a safe storage place to house the new equipment and provide students various options during PE and recess for years to come.
