Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma (GSEOK) was recently provided a $1,000 OK Community Cares grant to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience program.
With the help of the OK Community Cares grant, GSEOK will be able to enhance the support within their Girl Scout Leadership Experience program to provide a stronger safety net for girls and volunteers. This program will help grow awareness for youth mental health and teach volunteers how to support those who are struggling.
“Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is thrilled to be an OK Community Cares grant recipient,”
said Regina Moon, GSEOK’s President and CEO. “These funds will help bring vital, hands-on life skills and leadership skills programs to our 250 Girl Scouts in Payne County. This grant also sends a message to girls that their community is behind them every step of the way!”
