OK Community Cares recently provided Harvest House a $2,000 grant to support their programs focused on food insecurities.
Harvest House serves clients in Northeast Oklahoma and is located in Tulsa, Okla., in one of the highest concentrations of Section 8 housing in the state. Two of their programs focus on food insecurities to meet their client’s needs. The Food for Families program provides a week’s worth of quality food allowing clients to shop from a menu on dedicated shopping days or clients can pick up prepacked groceries through their Emergency Food Program.
“We are deeply grateful to OK Community Cares for this generous $2,000 investment in Harvest House,” said Olivia DiCamilli, Harvest House Executive Director. “Because of partners like OK Community Cares, Harvest House is able to serve families each week with nutritious food, clothing, vision care, utility assistance, and compassionate support. The generosity is helping put meals on tables and bringing hope to households throughout our community.”
