Babysitting Certification Classes with CPR & AED Training
STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma Community Credit Union is partnering with OK CPR Now, headquartered in Glencoe, OK, to offer two, low-cost babysitting essentials classes this summer thru the Learn, Earn & Save Program.
Teens between the ages of 11 – 15 who want to prepare themselves for a successful babysitting career should attend a class. During the Learn, Earn & Save class, attendees will become educated on babysitting essentials. They will receive Child and Babysitter Safety (CABS) and First Aid, CPR and AED training through the Health and Safety Institute (HSI). Discussions on engagement with parents & children, and financial education attributes of their babysitting business, as well as savings account discussions will also be covered.
Interested teens can choose one of the following classes:

at OK CPR NOW’s Training Center
301 W. Main Street, Glencoe OK
Classes are $35.00 per participant with lunch and snacks provided. Participants do not have to be a member of Oklahoma Community Credit Union to attend and enrollment is open to teens in Payne or surrounding counties.
All class graduates will receive a take home safety bag, the text book and a chance to receive other financial benefits.

About the Training: Susan Wilkinson is the owner and lead instructor of OK CPR NOW, LLC and has spent more than 14 years teaching life-saving skills through the American Red Cross, more than three years with the American Heart Association, and over a year with HSI. Her mission began when an infant stopped breathing in her arms. When the baby began breathing again, Susan whispered a promise to become a CPR instructor so others would have the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency. Today, OK CPR NOW provides First Aid, CPR, AED, Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Training, Wilderness First Aid, and other safety training. Their mission is to build safer families, stronger communities, and future leaders by teaching skills to save, with the confidence to act.
