Oklahoma Community Announces Promotions
STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma Community Credit Union recently announced the promotions of Angelica Bugarin to Assistant Vice President of Lending and Shannon Focht to Loan Processing Manager for the organization’s lending department.
“Angelica and Shannon do a great job of walking Members through the loan process. They provide exceptional service for the credit union,” said Brittney Federko, Vice President of Lending.
“We are excited to recognize their efforts to help grow and serve our membership,” stated Misty Hesser, Vice President of Lending. “Both of these lending team members have worked hard to ensure credit union Members have the best loan product to fit their financial needs, all while making the loan closing process
appear seamless.”
Bugarin joined Oklahoma Community in 2014 and previously worked in collections before becoming a loan officer. Providing bilingual options for credit union Members, Bugarin offers help with Home Equity Loans, Auto & Signature loans. Bugarin is also active on the Credit Union Cares Employee Committee and a coach for YMCA Youth Soccer. Bugarin attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and she and her husband, Ramon, are raising four children. They reside in Perkins, OK.
Focht has been a part of the Oklahoma Community Credit Union team since November 2021 when she joined the credit union as a Senior Loan Processor. She handles the day-to-day operations of the loan processing department, including auditing. Focht’s expertise in lending helps credit union Members, while advising members of loan options, repayment schedules, interest rates, insurance requirements, and other loan details. In her new role, Focht will manage the loan processing area, while continuing to serve on the employee committee, Credit Union Cares. Her experience in the financial industry runs over 20 years where she has served as a new account representative, a loan officer and a branch manager. A Stillwater native, Focht is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. She and her spouse, Chris, reside in Perkins, OK where they have raised two sons.
