Oklahoma Community Credit Union will never ask for your personal information, account number, password, social security number, or
any sensitive account information via email or text message.

Should you receive an electronic communication that appears to originate from Oklahoma Community Credit Union, but asks for specific account information,
please do not respond and forward the communication to an employee at the credit union for analysis. You may contact us at

Online Security Awareness

Do not share your passwords or other information that you may use to authenticate yourself with a financial institution.

Your password should be unique to our website and not used on multiple sites. Your password should be strong with at least 8 characters, upper and lowercase characters, numbers, and symbols. Your password is strongest if it is also not a word found in a dictionary.

Your challenge questions should be of information that is not easy to find about yourself. The name of your pet, for example, may be easy to come by.

Avoid using unfamiliar computers to access your account. Public computers could have information stealing software such as keyloggers enabled on them to specifically steal account information.

If you suspect that your information is at risk, please change your login information immediately!

If using a mobile device to access financial information, please make sure you keep the device up-to-date, only use phones that still receive security updates from the manufacturer, and utilize unlock security features such as a login PIN, thumbprint, or Face ID in order to access the device.

General Awareness

When using an ATM to get cash, please be aware of your surroundings. Glance around before approaching the machine to make sure you are in a safe place.

Make sure the machine does not have a skimmer attached to it, most of the time these are easy to detect by wiggling the mechanism that the card inserts into. If it is loose or looks poorly made, do not use the machine and contact the credit union.

Do not write your PIN down on your card or anywhere else. Your PIN should be memorized and not used elsewhere such as your garage door code, alarm code, etc.

Do not share your banking information including your debit or credit card with people you do not trust.

Credit Reporting

Always be aware of what is on your credit report. You are entitled to a free credit report every 12 months from each of the credit bureaus. Visit www.annualcreditreport.com for your free reports.
