
United Way of Payne County receives OK Community Cares grant to support growth of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
The Imagination Library mails books at no cost to children up to their fifth birthday with the goal of improving childhood literacy and inspiring the love of reading.
The number of children registered for the Imagination Library in Payne County has already exceeded 1,200 in 2023. The funds from this grant will help the Imagination Library supply 12 months of books to a goal of 2,600 children. OK Community Cares is a fund of Oklahoma Community Federal Credit Union (“Oklahoma Community” or “Credit Union”) to help fulfill the Credit Union’s mission to enhance the financial well-being of our members and communities.
