Vizavance recently received a $1,000 OK Community Cares grant to help provide free vision screenings to children in Stillwater.
Serving all 77 Oklahoma counties, Vizavance is the only nonprofit in the state dedicated to children’s vision health. During the 2024-25 school year, 469 children in Payne County received a free vision screening through Vizavance. Through the vision screening process, minor to severe vision problems can be detected in children early enough to be corrected and not hinder their ability to learn.
