Will Rogers Elementary Music Program was recently awarded a $1,000 OK Community Cares grant to purchase a piano.
“A piano is foundational to any music classroom,” said Carrie Hoipkemier, music educator at Will Rogers Elementary. “The purchase of a digital piano would make a tremendous impact on the growth of our students.”
The new grant will help replace the music program’s broken acoustic piano and will be easier to transport from the classroom to the gym for school performances.
OK Community Cares is a fund of Oklahoma Community Federal Credit Union (“Oklahoma Community” or “Credit Union”) to help fulfill the Credit Union’s mission to enhance the financial well-being of our members and communities.
